When go to garage sales, or Resale shops even, do you go looking for something specific or look around for good deals? I’m always on the lookout for jigsaw puzzles but we do like going just to see if there is something else. Plus it’s good socialization.

I go looking for the best deal, nothing in particular. That way I'm surprised if I do find something.

When I used to go to garage sales I would always browse and hope I would find something I would like.

I usually go to a sale just to browse..not looking for anything in particular. You never know what you're gonna find

Just as everyone else has stated, looking around for a good deal. In the UK, we call them carboot sales, but I am assuming that the USA call them garage sales. I've been to a few in my time, and I've got some bargains. I know some people who do it for a living, they will go and find a item that is worth 500$ that is being sold for only 5$ and sell it for a profit after buying.
